The working principle of self-priming pump

The working principle of the external mixing self-priming pump is: before the pump starts, fill the pump casing with water (or the pump casing itself contains water). On the other hand, the water discharged into the air-water separation chamber by the impeller flows back to the outer edge of the impeller through the left and right return holes. Under the effect of pressure difference and gravity, the water flowing back from the left return hole is shot into the impeller channel and crushed by the impeller. After mixing with the air from the suction pipe, it is thrown towards the volute and flows in the direction of rotation.
