There are four important criteria for selection of your pump.
Bore well size : The diameter of the bore is the restricting Factor e.g. If your bore size is 100mm then select 100mm Pumpset only.
Total head : Please Understand head as below : Total head =A+B+ Draw Down level + Seasonal Variation in water level + Frictional loses.
Discharge : The yielding of Bore is the criteria Important for pump selection. Only 75% of the Yield of the bore well should Be taken as rated discharge of the pump. (Contact Your Bore well contractor to know the yielding of bore)
MOTOR H.P. & Pump Stages : For the above total head and For the above total head and discharge select the motor & pumpset from the performance table having maximum efficiency at duty point.
